G’day Dixon Park Nippers!

The 2020-21 season of Nippers will be kicking off at Dixon Park Beach on Sunday the 1st of November at 8.30am. A brief schedule of the day is as follows:

8:30am – Nippers desk will open for sale of merchandise
8:45am – Beach set up – please come down and help out!
9:00am – Age Manager briefing
9:20am – Nippers seated on the grass in their age groups
9:30am – Nippers starts
10:45am – Nippers ends
11.00am – Off the beach

We have limited merchandise however we will have compulsory hi-vis pink singlets and some stock of rashies. We have plenty of compulsory skull caps to purchase on the morning. And don’t forget to slip, slop, slap!

Parents will be required to sign in using a QR code system and will be asked to maintain social distancing at all times. There will be a Covid briefing and covid marshals to enforce these rules – please make sure you stay Covid-safe throughout the day!!!

Finally, we REALLY need Age Managers and Age Assistants so please contact Ben if you can help out – it doesn’t matter if you can’t be there every week – every little bit of help makes a difference to the kids experience on the beach.

Age Manager Training will be occurring at the club at 6pm next Wednesday the 28th – more details to be released shortly. If you can’t commit to being a full “Age Manager” then you can volunteer as an “Age Assistant” to help out as much as you feel you can.
